Charitable Opportunities abound at Skylines.![]() Our mission is to serve our residents with the very best nursing care, in a spirit of love and compassion, and in a clean, safe home environment. Apostolic Christian Skylines is a 501 (c) (3) Charitable Organization and can receive your tax-deductible donation. Here are tangible ways you can make a difference in the lives of our residents at Skylines. The Parable of The Good SamaritanIn Luke 10:25-37, we read of Jesus when he was asked a question, “who is my neighbor?” He responded with a parable about a person who was badly injured and lying by the side of the road, left for dead. Several people passed by but avoided giving aid to this individual. A Samaritan stopped, had compassion on this wounded person, and took him to an Inn. He paid for this sick person’s care and told the Innkeeper that if it costs any more, he will pay the difference when he returns.
Jesus said this Samaritan was the true “neighbor.” Then Jesus said to go and do likewise. It is our joy as Christians to respond to God’s love and mercy through our financial gifts.
